Event Cheer Volunteer at the Manchester Marathon
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our Marathon Cheer Team in Timperley at the Asics Greater Manchester Marathon on Sunday 2 April 2017 to help ensure our team of runners receive the support they deserve along the course.
By joining team Alzheimer's Society's cheer squad you can exercise your lungs, support others, gain insight into mass participation sporting events and help fight dementia.
You are needed for just for one morning! If you can't commit the whole morning, please still sign up - we're flexible and any time you can give really will help.
The role will suit you if you…
Fancy joining in, having fun and helping motivate our runners as they take on the gruelling 26.2 miles to help fight dementia.
Our runners are hoping to raise a huge amount in this fantastic race, and they need you there to keep them going and help them reach the finish line.
The Manchester Marathon is a fantastic event which takes place in central Manchester, known as the flattest, fastest and friendliest UK marathon.
